We offer training consultation on how to integrate ELDT to employee current training methods and processes. We can assist your trainers in meeting federal ELDT requirements in theory and behind the wheel topics.

Scope of Work:

-Ensure the company is registered as a Private or public FMCSA provider.

-Provide “Train the Trainer” Training (Training from E&D Master Instructor). -Provide Training for Admin personnel on submitting Trainees to FMCSA. -Provide details for approved curriculum required for trainees.

-Provide Ongoing support to ensure streamlined setup for operations.

ELDT FOR COMPANIES

 

Let our experts certify your trainers to train entry-level drivers according to the new rule. With our hands on training, your trainers will be qualified to deliver training that meets FMSCA's new entry-level driver training (ELDT) requirements.


Our instructor will teach your trainers how to deliver ELDT curriculum that consists of the required theory, range, and road instruction components, while also providing the materials needed to successfully conduct the training.

Training Program Curriculum

 

Our curriculum includes a combination of theory, range and road training as required by the regulation. Your trainers will receive 200 hours (5 weeks) of training material that covers the 30 essential training modules required by the FMCSA. In addition to best practice modules for helping trainees become professional drivers.

  • Coupling & Uncoupling (configurable based on type of equipment)
  • Forward Motion and Shifting
  • Close‐Quarter Maneuvering
  • Road training focuses:
  • Progressive Road Trips – DOT & CDL‐Prep
  • Hazard Perception & Defensive Driving
  • Preparing for CDL‐A Test
